Hi Crabby, thanks for the kind words!

It's a bizarre quirk of history that the best trained monkeys are generally recognised to be those found in the North-West of England, descendants of the legendary "mill-monkeys" who made possible the industrial revolution in this area during the 18th and 19th centuries. The cotton mills are long gone, and the monkeys are eager to work in whatever simple trades they can learn... Accountancy, civil engineering, medicine and - of course - translation.

We'd love to export them of course, but sadly the cost of the jiffy-bags and postage is prohibitive.

Wow, cool webcomic, and I'm impressed with high quality of monkeys you're hiring! Hope they had a very pleasant holiday and are feeling well-rested and ready for the new year.

Hmm, I seriously need some clever and industrious blogmonkeys, workmonkies, housemonkeys, and errandmonkeys... wonder where I could acquire some?

Hi Brikof, thanks for reading - and thanks for the comment!

You'd be surprised how much effort sometimes goes into getting the wording of the translations right... In this strip, Juanelo is prescribing pills for the kid - this indicates that he is a psychiatrist rather than a psychologist, as the latter don't (typically) use drugs as part of their treatment. A psychiatrist is necessarily a trained medical doctor, and the correct term of address is "Doctor".

Keep the comments coming, feedback is always welcome..!
